How I became an Internet Marketer

When I came back from working in Germany in 1970, I had no idea what  was going to do.

Being a practical person, I set up a business with a friend of mine, (Who was a time served plumber) and started a plumbing and central heating business. I had years of experience before I went to Germany on the selling side of business, so this partnership seems ideal. The business grew and changed. We were carrying out plumbing & heating work for shop-fitting companies and also fulfilling general whilst on site, (Which covered virtually everything). We ended up with our own shop-fitting business, including the electrical installation work. This went well until my business partner and I decided to travel different paths.

I carried on working for myself in the shop-fitting trades and was also the proprietor of a taxi business with a small fleet of cars right up until my retirement age.

After a holiday from working all my life, I soon became bored, so I returned to the commercial world again to save for what I had always wanted – A Narrow Boat on the canals – I eventually achieved this and apart from the specialised steelwork of the hull, have built and fitted out my boat to my design and specification.

I was able to install al the plumbing, central heating and electrical installations myself, with all the knowledge learned from my shop-fitting experiences. Everything is all in accordance with up to date safety regulations etc., I now live on my boat and the relaxed lifestyle on the water suits me fine.

However, I have always been a “Work-a-Holic”. I have to keep my brain active, enjoy working and I wanted something to keep myself alert and active which brought me to the Internet.

I looked around the Internet, looking for ways to obtain more knowledge. There were lots of sites advertising that one could earn $1000 per week and more! I fell for some of this advertising but soon found that most of them followed the same pattern. They were all missing the “How to Do It” important step by step procedures that a person like me needed,  just to get a foot on the bottom rung of the ladder to get started…..

That is, until I came across the John Thornhill Blog and who is an eBay Power Seller and Established Marketer. I looked at what John had to say.

There was something in his presentation page that just struck a chord. I really don’t know what it was, (And still don’t know!) It was like a sixth sense. I just had a funny ‘gut’ feeling that here was a person who was prepared to take me all the way, holding my hand as I went.

Well! I was right! I am only in the sixth week of his in depth Internet Course. I have my web site up and on the Internet for anyone to see, (That is, if they have my web site address,) and I am building on this week by week. Although it was all John’s very thorough coaching, I feel very proud of myself. With John’s guidance and excellent videos, I have manage to put the site, in all its complexities, up there to see.

I could never had learned this from any Internet book, (I Tried and failed), and I still have another 30 weeks before the course comes to an end.

Because John teaches so well, I managed to ‘fix’ a problem recently for myself, with the help of his videos, using some of the Internet tools he has ‘instructed me’ to download. I had to ‘Delete’ a Blog Theme which had for some reason corrupted.

Fortunately, because of what I had been taught after 2 weeks, I checked the particular Theme against another one. This confirmed that the area that had become corrupted. I then copied a ‘Back-up’ that was saved elsewhere, (John’s thorough teaching again), and re-installed it and Hey Presto – everything is working again!

Even at this early stage, I would suggest that anyone reading this, who would like to become involved with Internet Marketing, has a look at what John Thornhill has to offer.

His way is a sure way of earning extra income, which can easily overtake your regular income, (This has happened with so many other IMs who started this way, many are John’s last years pupils!)
